At 18, Austin founded Auto Care Enterprise Detailing—fondly known as ACE by his friends and family—to help fund his first car. After years of helping his dad and older brothers keep their bevy of vehicles clean, he enjoyed doing the same for others.

Sometime later, Austin moved to California and continued to detail cars along the coast. He mastered a few new techniques, namely hand-applied clay bar and ceramic coating to achieve that year-round “California clean.”

Since moving back to Chicago, Austin has blended everything he’s learned to deliver a top-notch detail for every vehicle—yes, even during those blustery winters. After a decade and a half and hundreds of vehicles later, Austin still thrives off the meditative process of detailing vehicles and meeting fellow car lovers in the process.
